How our activities deliver public benefit
Our main activities are described below
The charity offers a bursary scheme to assist those on a very low income. Those qualifying can attend courses at a substantially reduced fee. This scheme is on a first come first served basis and is subject to availability. In setting the level of fees the trustees give careful consideration to the accessibility of the facilities to those on low incomes to reflect the charity’s strategy of enabling all within the community whatever their means to take part in activities and view exhibitions.
We have referred to the guidance contained in the Charity Commission's general guidance on public benefit when reviewing our aim and objectives and in planning our future activities. In particular the trustees consider how planned activities will contribute to the aims and objectives they have set.
